The 2018-versus-2022 fallback is especially useful because it changes the evidence baseline before answer quality is even measured. A follow-up could cross language with country: US in English and Farsi, Iran in English and Farsi, using the same fixed field definitions and source-date requirements. That would help separate prompt-language effects from country-specific access barriers.

I would report opened-source coverage separately from cited-source coverage, and annotate each value with the actual source read, its date and whether it replaced an inaccessible original. An inaccessible current source should remain distinct from a successful older fallback. The resulting trace can reveal an information-access problem without mislabeling it as a translation or factual-reasoning failure.
